Gorgeous Upper-Level Eventing and Sport Horse Prospect! Oliver, as he is known around the barn, is currently training for the Retired Race Horse Project's TB Makeover Event to be held in October at the Kentucky Horse Park! Oliver (JC: Site Read) is a 5yo, 16.2h Kentucky bred gelding by Tizdejavu, who retired sound after 10 races and won $77k! Despite a successful start, it became apparent that Oliver was not going to live up to his racing owner's expectation, so they kindly decided to retire him sound to allow him to find success in another career.
Oliver is showing incredible talent, trainability, and aptitude for Eventing and show jumping as well as the uphill movement needed to be competitive in straight dressage! This boy is athletic enough to be a winning ride for a professional and is quiet and sensible enough for a talented young rider or amateur in a program. Oliver has competed through Novice and is schooling Training/Prelim with ease. He has also been trail ridden extensively, galloped on the beach, and loves hacking out by himself or in a group. With his wonderfully charming, funny personality, he is a barn favorite and a real head turner at the shows! |

Mercedes, affectionately called "Sadie" (2010 16h OTTB mare) came off the track in late May of 2014, has been let down and is ready to start her performance career! This lovely lady is extremely sweet and very easy around the barn. She trailers well, stands nicely for the farrier (currently barefoot with a good, solid foot!), ties, bathes, clips, etc. Very level headed in everything we have asked of her, just goes along with the program. She is a very cute, balanced mover and seems to want to be a jumper! She's very clever and brave, showing excellent technique and scope over fences. Coupled with her willing attitude, she's sure to make a fabulous Event horse, jumper, or fox hunter. She's just getting started under saddle and is easy going and quite trainable. She has been professionally trained and has also been ridden and shown by a junior rider. Poet is always looking to please and is a fun, safe, and uncomplicated ride in or out of the arena. She is very well mannered and an easy keeper. This wonderful pony would be great for a young rider looking to show and has enough substance for an adult amateur to go out and have fun!
